Weekend Pictures

He is getting so big!

Stopping the soccer ball

He found out that if you don't run all the way to the line, you can beat the big kids on the way back!

Isn't this precious?!

Zane is becoming quite the ham!

Our Weekend

This past weekend, Zane had his soccer skills test! He ran across the gym, and stopped the ball with his foot, and kicked it back! :) He's got skills! This is the first time to play on a team, and it was so cute to see him with all the bigger kids. He was timid, and shy, and kept waving to us. SO SWEET! At one point he mouthed, "Hi Mom!" to me, and then gave me a thumbs up sign! What a way to melt my heart!! Sorry I haven't uploaded pictures. The iphoto on our computer isn't recognizing my pictures from the camera. I am still trying to figure that one out!

Saturday afternoon, we just took it easy. It was so nice to have a beautiful day after rain every day the week before! Sunday was a great day as well. We had great services, got a sneak peak of our new education building, and then went to Red Robin's for Wesley's birthday! Home for naps, then back to church for Cubbies & Puggles. Zane was so thrilled because he got to bring Cubby Bear home! I will put up a picture of him, and Cubby too!

Yesterday, was Wesley's actual birthday! So the boys and I went to the store, and picked him out some birthday balloons. They also picked out some little presents for him. We were at the dollar store, so I let them pick anything they wanted to give him. They decided on candy, of course! Then we met everyone for His actual birthday lunch, and it was yummy! The boys were exhausted, and they slept so well. They got a fun package in the mail with an anticipated Lego magazine, activity books, and Easter marshmallows! Thanks Mimi and Papa! We ended our night by sending Eric off to BSF, taking dinner to my sweet friend, then having lots of fun reading books, dancing, and being silly. I LOVE MY LIFE! :)

The Right Attitude

Today was one of THOSE days. Everyone was off schedule, routine was out the window, and there were more tantrums than I could count! I also woke up not feeling good, so that was just icing on the cake! I just wanted to crawl back into bed, or lock myself in the bathroom to sit for a moment in peace. Through my selfish desires, and poor attitude, God gently reminded me of His love, grace, and blessings in my life.

Attitude is everything. And by me having the wrong attitude, I know I missed opportunities today. Opportunities to teach, and train them. Opportunities to laugh, and be silly. Opportunities to make a memory. On my own I fail miserably, but because I have God I can stand confidently in Him. I am thankful for His forgiveness, and a clean slate. He has given me three little boys to guide, and love on, and I truly want to please Him. He knew just where I would be today, the struggles we would go through, and that His grace would see me through another day. I don't have to be overwhelmed because this is right where I am supposed to be. That is such a comfort!

Tonight, we went to Academy to purchase cleats for Zane. He has his soccer skills test at church tomorrow! To say he is excited is an understatement! I am now a soccer mom! LOL :) This is starting a new chapter in our lives. And in May, T-ball starts for Zane, and Jaxon. We have so many fun things to look forward to!! Pictures coming tomorrow!!

We're Back!!

I can't believe that it's been almost a whole year since I've blogged. Life with three little boys can be a bit busy! I've changed the blog name, design, everything! I'm ready to share, and record our life once again! Hopefully a bit better this time! Eric, and I had the best time coming up with tag lines to go under the title! Good memories, and laughs!!

I recently set up email accounts for each of the boys, and have been sending them emails to read one day when they are older. Right now I'm horrible with keeping papers together, and figured going paperless would be less stressful for me! So the boys are individually having memories recorded for them, but as a family...nothing. There are so many crazy things that the boys say, and do, so I really wanted to start blogging again.

Life is SO fun right now! Zane is four (and a half! He would definitely want me to say that.), Jaxon is three, and Brandt is almost two. Zane is writing his name, simple words, and starting to read! He is such a little boy, and getting ready to start soccer, and T-ball! Jaxon is very much into art, and being creative in any way possible (especially on the walls!). He has so much energy these days, and just does. not. stop!! Brandt is my little helper. He loves to be by my side cleaning, reading, and cooking. He loves to sing songs, and repeat any word out of any mouth!

We aren't as busy as we were last year. The boys were in preschool, but now everyone is home with me. I am so blessed to have them home with me, and we have been having lots of fun together! We used to be involved in some mom groups, but decided to lay low this year. We go to BSF on Wednesdays, and have the other days for playdates, and trips to fun places like the library and park! This time is just so special, and I wouldn't trade it for anything. Some days are very long, but God has placed some wonderful ladies in my life to laugh with, cry with, pray with, and share this journey of motherhood. They mean so much to me!!

It is very late, so I am headed to bed. The boys wake up at 7:00am on the dot, and it comes quick!! Good night! :)
